The Montana International Choral Festival brings cultural diversity and inspiring music to Missoula, Montana, USA every two years, since 1987.
The Festival is a non-competitive event produced by volunteers in a beautiful mountain setting that connects musicians from diverse cultural traditions with regional audiences and local community hosts.

We offer a warm welcome to choirs from every part of the world.
Our choral festival is a non-competitive festival, brining together choirs reflecting the rich, varied choral traditions of the world. We limit ourselves to choirs of exceptional musical quality.

Volunteer
Participating in the Festival as a volunteer is a highly rewarding experience! Volunteers enjoy “behind-the-scenes” access to Festival concerts and events; face-to-face cultural exchange with visiting choirs and immense satisfaction knowing they contributed to the success of this prestigious international event and one of Missoula’s most beloved traditions.

Host
Hosting allows for a uniquely personal Festival experience, and many lasting friendships have developed between host and guest(s) throughout the years, sometimes lasting a lifetime! Host families provide meals, comfortable sleeping arrangements; and transportation to and from the concert venues and social events.

Since 1987, the Montana International Choral Festival has brought outstanding choral music from across the world to Missoula. We cannot do this without the generous support from donors like you! Donations help with many things including festival equipment, the ability to offer free concerts, expanding our reach, and more.
